Our latest "Granny Bee" Challenge...

Here we go again... After viewing, touching and coveting many of Sue Spargo's http://suespargo.blogspot.com/ "Stitching Samplers" I was inspired to put that idea to use, by Challenging my Bee's (My Stitchery Group)... I gave them a sheet of Bee & Beeskep Patterns and instructed them to gather up a fat quarter of wool or a heavy woven fabric, scraps of wool & wovens and then cut out & whipstitch down their designs on their background... This piece will then be used during our gatherings to practice old & new stitches and many embellishment techniques... I can't wait to see them finished in the coming year...

Here's the Pattern I gave them...Now see what they did.. and keep in mind, I encourage everyone to do their own thing...

Here are some of the Bee's Beginnings...

Hmm... I love it... Someone stepped out of the box...

Just a few of my Talented Bee's... Great Start... Lots more to come...
