"Handwork in History"

Our 2-day Handwork in History workshop was wonderful! We honored Harriet Powers by stitching our Story Skirt/Aprons... or should I say we started stitching and pinning our Aprons! Each Apron holds Memories and Family History of it's maker! I am in Love with this project... we'll meet again for 2 more days and then once a month to work on them together! I'll keep you updated!

These aprons are amazing. If any of you get the chance to see them on display in Beth's studio, you should go.
Notaro! I wondered what all those 'busts' (heads) were about!
